For example, the Facebook info page asks for your hometown. A high school classmate and I both said the place we grew up - in South Carolina, although she is now in Florida and I'm in Georgia.

If a person was born one place, grew up somewhere else, and currently lives somewhere else, what is their home town?

I agree .... the place you grew up. My parents lived in a small country town, married there, and raised their family. Mum had fertility problems and was
trialling a new drug when she fell pregnant with me, so I was born in a major hospital in Sydney. I'd never even consider calling that my hometown. I guess
I'd define it as your childhood memories. Not sure how someone would go if they moved town on a regular basis.

I think of it as the place I grew up. Like Sandra, I was born in a hospital in Sydney but my parents lived so far out they might as well have been in the
country. I was only a few months old when we moved to Perth. I've lived here ever since and it's definitely my hometown.
S, were you born at Crown St Womens Hospital? ( I was |

I guess it would be too much of a coincidence for us to be born in the same place. Same town is close enough lol.

It's hard for me to pick just one answer, the town I live in now is where I was born and the only town I've ever lived in.

I lived in three different places when I was a kid, I think of Brisbane (where I live now) as my home town, because (1) I've lived here longer than
anywhere else, and (2) it feels like home.

To me it is where I was raised. Because I only stayed in my birth place, for 6 months. We moved to Washington (Oly) and been there ever since, but now we live
in the east side of the mountains. ~ Love it here!
