My least favorite is Chamber of Secrets. Chamber of Secrets is my least favorite because I don't think it has the OOMPH that the other books have.

I was very disappointed in JK for killing off Sirius. I also liked these three because you knew more of each character and got more "background" stuff. **I heard that they are going to do book 7 in "two parts!"

Goblet of Fire (4) 5. Prisoner of Azkaban (3) 6. Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone (1) 7. Chamber of Secrets (2) I love them all too--but it wasn't all that hard to rank them for me. Book 2 takes the bottom rung mostly because of the spiders...I just can't stand them...at all...

Philosopher's Stone (1) 3. Chamber of Secrets (2) 4. Half-Blood Prince (5) 5. Goblet of Fire (4) 6. Order of the Phoenix (5) 7. Deathly Hallows (7) I recently re-read Azkaban and was impressed again by how much is packed in to it, compared to the sprawl of every book thereafter. The first three are the top three for me.
