1 Where do you live? (Can just give state/province if you don't want to be specific.) Into what body of water does your rainwater drain?
I live in Georgia. I'm less than a mile from the Continental Divide - my rainwater goes to the Atlantic, although most of Atlanta's water goes to the Gulf of Mexico.

2 Have you read many books? What is your favorite genre/type of book? Least favorite?
I read everything but horror. I wish I were faster - my TBR (to be read) list is always way too long!

3 How do you usually get your news? If magazines or newspapers - which ones? If online, do you use a site where you can flag articles so friends can know what you found interesting, like Digg?
I like to get my news online because I can quickly hone on things I find interesting. I am http://digg.com/users/AliciaTAllen on Digg and would love to hook up with others there to easily share articles.

4 What are your thoughts on books made into movies? Favorites? Disappointments?
Most do a good job, but some cut too much, and a few change things they shouldn't. The Lord of the Rings was amazing.

5 What is the most widely read thing that you wrote? Book, poem, article, work presentation, scrapping?
Lately I've been writing articles helping job seekers, and I'm amazed how many people say they're read them.

It's nice to hook with IAMR readers there. Sometimes I set up events for International Book Day and such. The discussions mostly happen here though.

7 Do you have a good story about your computer? Maybe when it got infected with something?
When I got laid off, I realized how many things were on my work computer and not home! Now I keep important documents on a key card.

8 What do you enjoy collecting?
Pictures of water towers!

9 What do you do to stay healthy?
I try to eat lots of vegetables. I've been on Jenny Craig diet for two years... more success the first year than the second.

10 Besides the above, or your family/pets, what are your passions?
I've become aware of my own impact on the environment. Now I compost trash, use green bags, and whatever else I can. I'm collecting hand-held electronic devices for recycling.
